Some help with Oultook Express (around version 4-5-6)

Setting up your POP (incoming mail) and SMTP (outgoing mail) servers.

First use the pull down menu to select Tools > Accounts.

Then choose an account and click on Properties.
This does presume that you have at least one account existing.

Check that your name and email address are correct, as desired,
under the General tab.

Then click the Server tab and enter the information that your
ISP should have probided

Choosing to leave the password field blank means you will have to
type in the password everytime you use OE, I do this to avoid having
a file on my machine that contains my password as this file can be
found and stolen/read by hackers. But it's a personal choice.
